Episode Journal

This was the first side content I tried outside of the main story, so I really enjoyed it! Deirdre and Anabel's story blew my mind. I thought the Labyrinth was kind of boring visually though.

Episode Journal

I loved Poporo and the story around Medusa, and Reptires is so delightfully evil and one of my favorite villains in the game hands down. I'm not a fan of the Dogma Tower dungeon though, and this was also the worst episode in terms of points.

BTW I had a hilarious win in the final boss of this episode's story, where Toova's EOT ghost attack was the only reason I won...

I liked the extra character work for Helena and Galliard in this episode, particularly seeing a girlier side to Helena! I quite like their relationship, but I have uncertain feelings about Biaka. I like Leo a lot though and hope to see more of him. Sadly, I was rushing through this episode a little since I was trying to unlock grasta at the time.

Episode Journal

Hands down, this is my favorite episode. I truly love alternate universes almost as much as I love "bad end" stories. This one was right up my alley and had the best writing, and it helped that I already cared about the featured characters. Lokido is one of my favorites so I was especially invested in his part of the story, but I really did enjoy all the appearances from the various characters. This episode also has the best and most beautiful locales.

Episode Journal

This episode was very hit or miss for me. The story was my least favorite of all the episodes, since it felt quite rushed and overly disconnected from the rest of the game world. The repetitive side quests with no scene skips are also a huge miss for me. Aesthetics were a huge hit for me though, I love the Auction House. Auction Battle mechanics were another hit for me, though horribly dampened by the bad quest-focused grind. Also, I didn't have Hardy yet when I did this episode, but he was an instant favorite for me. I'm otherwise ambivalent on Sophia because, again, she doesn't feel like she fits into the game world very well.

Mythos Journal

Ahh...the big one. Mythos was one big emotional rollercoaster that hooked me in as soon as Clarte appeared. The expansion of the world to the continent of Zerberiya was fantastic, and I'm a huge fan of the western visuals. The entire final segment was unbelievable and completely blew me away. It helped greatly, of course, that I already quite liked the characters from the Western continent, particularly Rosetta and Mistrare.

Also, I completed this on Sept 29, 2021, right before the promo for completing it ended.

Ensemble Journal

As the first Ensemble content, I really liked this! I enjoyed how it was short and sweet and very character focused. I'm also a huge fan of anything that touches on Victor's group of heroes, so Maisie was a delight to finally meet. The unique timed AD is also a pretty nice addition.

Miyu is a great character, and Bertrand and Felmina are fantastic foils to each other and to her! Aldo and Miyu's friendship was also really cute. That said, I think the Other Tales format suffers from being too long, so it's a good thing Ensemble has replaced it now.
